Audio Rework of
Starcraft Opening Cinematic

A complete audio rework of the opening cinematic from Blizzard's Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
My reimagining of this cutscene uses bespoke SFX taken from a wide variety of sources: dogs growling, drills, thunderstorms and more.

I loved this cutscene when I was younger and being immersed in that world again while reimagining the audio was a lot of fun.

Lanwes

This is a collection of recent work exploring classical concepts of bi-tonality, traditional folk tunes in relation to my home in Cornwall, and thematically rooted in my work in games.

Nebula

This a collection of teaser tracks for the upcoming title 'Nebula' by Stellar Forge Games.

"Prepare to embark on an epic space odyssey, where exploration, diplomacy, combat, and discovery intertwine... the destiny of the cosmos is yours to shape in this thrilling space RPG adventure."

Excerpt from "Those That Came Before"

A piece recorded almost exclusively with guitars while experimenting with some new recording equipment. While the melody is carried by a ukulele, the overall harmony is created using guitars in various ways: strummed, picked and even bowed.
Percussion too being largely produced using the bodies of the guitars.

I found that a violin bow on a guitar can be very versatile; in this piece the higher frequencies paint a delicate eeriness whilst the low strings fill the piece with warm undertones.

Microcosm

This is the OST for GDTV game jam entry 'Microcosm'.
It was rated in the top 1% for the category of music being placed 8th out of 1000 entries!

You are Clara, a curious and adventurous teenager; but you are also Dendi; a Dendritic cell that is part of the immune system. Clara has wounded herself and now it is your task, little Dendritic cell; to identify the enemy; make your way to the spleen and activate the amazing powers of the adaptive immune system!

The game is available to play over on itch.io

Interment

Interment is an award winning narrative puzzle game, originally created for the 2023 Global Game Jam. With the help of sound design cues (which was a unique creative challenge!) the player must connect family histories to their respective dilapidated graves.

The game is available to play over on itch.io

The Christmas Thief OST

The Christmas Thief is a visual novel game about a pair of Robin Hood-esque animals and their quest to save Christmas for their furry friends. The eccentricity of the game allowed for a fun and creative approach to instrumentation and an eclectic combination of generic conventions!
